Libya: The Italian Occupation and the Libyan Resistance
In October 1911 the Italian fleet invaded Libya and the Libyans resisted the invaders with whatever little weapons they could get. A conversation –
Between you and me
I write in order to preserve these thoughts in a way that you will understand.
Talk with me on these special subjects. Hear what I have to say, just you and me and our intellect.
Provide another point of view or agree with me. Help direct the future. Each of us has a hidden talent that can combine with others and make a grand statement. Together we can formulate a great thought. A principle to live by. A reason to labor, struggle…

The Plight of An American Moderate
I am an American moderate. I exist dead center in what the majority of Americans want on every major issue facing the country and no one speaks for me or to me. I am an American moderate and everyday I see my country descending into anarchy and evil. Everyday the media I depend on to help me be an informed citizen capable of relating to and holding government officials accountable accede to radical, even Noe-Confederate forces as if they are legitimate participants in political arena. I am…

Peace and blessings my people,
Emerging faster than a single blade of farm land grass are self proclaimed scholars and intellectuals that appear to have this entire thing (world) figured out. Everyday their is a new person with a new revelation of the direction of this nation of ours and the world around us.
Maybe its just me, but the energy coming from all of these so called intellectual sources seem to be nothing but tension, hate, and disgust. No…

*All we need is love*
Love is under attack...why? God is Love.
When did it become taboo to tell the one you are with "I love you".
Why has love become a dirty word?
Is committment being confused for love?

NOT CAUSE AND EFFECT BUT SOLUTIONS
With jobs scarce to none, if most incarcerated blacks that have not killed anyone were to be let out which jobs should they be allowed to take? There should be some kind of consensus within black leadership and the communities of appropiate jobs for them that are not demeaning? Everyone cannot be barbers and beauticians. We can began by being be proactive instead of reactive. Ideas anyone, anyone, anyone? Like the TV show - What would you do?

BLACK COMMUNITY CONGREGATIONS EVERYWHERE IS THE KEY IF WE WANT CHANGE
Since the time of slavery PEOPLE didn't like BLACKS congregating. They have always been fearful of it.
Not congregations of worship. Not organizations that charge a fee. Just the basic congregating of blacks in every community. Be sure to invite the gang members or thugs of the community. That's important. In fact hand out free dashiki shirts to the black men and youths there. It represents that sense of pride. They will wear it as they see others began to wear…

from the Million Youth Peace March by Aqili
Two minutes, I’ve been given only two minutes; let’s work these two minutes as best as we can. What I’ve seen today is another pledge being made by these two men right beside me holding the red and blue flags. This is a very serious deal here; however, we cannot take this pledge and expect that and this situation will correct itself overnight. These two brothers have said enough is enough, now we must take this experience home to our communities. We must start to understand the young…
