On the international stage we must review our treaties with respect of our condoning undemocratic treatment of others(NAFTA, WTO, etc.); And pressure the United Nations to do the same.
The Supreme Court has rules that money is speech. So if one has been civilly deprive of speech unthinkable consequences occur, no one will ever hear us scream. Our current court system lock people up for being speechless/civilly deprived/poor. Our current health care system allows for, at least, 45,000 of our fellow citizen to be murdered because they are speechless/civilly deprived/poor. According to the Wall Street Journal, in 2008 alone, Speculative derivatives traded at 500 trillion dollars. If we applied a 1% transaction sales tax on those derivative we could pay for Medicare for all (estimated 1.4 trillion) and have currency left over to secure Social Security and implement a jobs program.
