Honorable Williams,
When you push play on the debate what your working toward is:
Securing Social Security.
Ending the bankrupting pay or die healthcare system and removing corporate greed.
And building a well funded jobs program.
All this accomplished by a 1% transaction sales tax applied to speculative derivatives Wall Street trading.
According to the Wall Street Journal, in 2008 alone, derivatives trading was 500 trillion dollars.
That 5 trillion in estimated revenues. Medicare for all is estimated at 1.4 trillion.
