Now, the same people who didn't really listen, or think, are saying "oh, once he gets his second term, he'll do the right thing"...dream on, dream on.

Permalink Reply by Byard Pidgeon on July 31, 2011 at 8:12pm Well, things have certainly got worse...I'd wager that now, 90 percent of ALL votes cast in Presidential elections are cast by ones who do not have the knowledge of what they are casting their vote for.
Most votes are not cast by the human brain, but by the lizard brain.

Permalink Reply by Byard Pidgeon on August 3, 2011 at 9:45am The Pell Grants have been extended only to 2013...just enough time to get halfway through college, then be stranded and at the mercy of the loan sharks...because the federally guaranteed loan programs are being eliminated, putting students at the mercy of the banks. That's what so-called conservatives really wanted, and of course, they got it.
In terms of hindering or taking away "absolute government control", we're moving toward absolute corporate control of government, a melding of the two, the classic definition of Fascism.

The writer of this article would not have even known about the lending of the federal reserve if it were not for the wall street reform act of the Obama administration. And if it is well known that wall street interest took the bailout money and are 'holding it', well infact investing it in foreign interest, why is the writer convienantly leaving that point out. If the Obamas hate poor people so much, why hold on to the funding for pell grants since that is the main funding which conservatives want to eliminate. Most Black people should remember that it was a progressive ideology which gave birth to eugenics, so it is no wonder that they protest any program or policy which takes away or hinders absolute govt control.

Yes, I'd still be as angry at o'bomber but it wouldn't be compounded with the anger I feel at myself for having voted for the SOB!
I'm in the habit a casting an honest vote for the candidate I think is best. Of course, that
candidate usually loses but I end up with a clear conscience. This time I didn't and I can't believe
I let myself down like this!
From family and friends, I heard, "Oh, you never are with us!" Oh, why can't you give the brother a chance? Oh, you vote for white people." There were discussions in the community, my side generally in the minority. But there was no way that I EVER was supposed to be persuaded by those pleas because I KNEW! I heard the bastard and what he was saying! And, I knew that he was nothing but a houseboy!
Now I'm pissed that we got what I thought we were going to get and I can't say, "It's not my fault!" I cast that vote knowing that the Black community was courting disaster.
"Oh the humanity!" ...All those people o'bomber has murdered...all the suffering he's caused...

Permalink Reply by Osirian on August 3, 2011 at 7:23pm It is obvious from what you typed that your inferiority complex was the devil on your shoulder whispering in your ear, "you know niggaz aint shyt, and your one". But you decided to listen to the angel on the other saying, "for once stop the self hate, and recognize a voice that is truly of the people", so you voted for the President. But once that devil jumped back in your ear with all of the failure rhetoric put forth by the media, your inferiority complex felt vilified, and thus began your downward spiral into becoming the perpetual 'devils advocate'.
To tell the truth I myself questioned voting for Obama because of his stance on israel during the campaign, but I am happy to say that although he has not been as firm on that policy as I would like to see, he hasn't outright kissed they ass like all the other presidents. I knew on social issues their would be little he could do because of the buzz saw of white supremacy he would face, of which I knew of from experience, and he may not have believed of until now. Another truth, I personally do not support 80% of the policies he has put forth, and that is due to my ideology of Black segregationism (the only true period in the history of this country where Black people actually were a prosperous communal unit) but I credit the brotha, and will support the brotha for his intentions of doing the greater good.
