The Democratic Party got trashed in 2010

because they will not tell the truth

because the Leadership of the Democratic Party still

believes in our "profits at any cost" corporatist economic system

because the Democratic Party muzzled

and threw the Progressive Wing of the party under the bus --

(their rational: progressives will always vote Democratic Party)

So listen to the speech by Michael Moore in Madison,

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/michael-moore/america-is-not-broke_b_...

Then ask yourself, when will Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid & Barack Obama

speak out like Michael Moore?

Then and only then will the Democrats win CONSECUTIVE elections like

Franklin Delano Roosevelt did.

(He supposedly once said, ''Wall Steet hates me, and I like it.'')

When the millionaires and billionaires and the big money profiteers

pay their fair share of taxes,

we won't have to cut salaries and benefits and worker rights

for our teachers, firefighters and sanitation workers.

Martin Luther King went to Memphis.

Michael Moore when to Madison.

It's a no brainer DEMOCRATIC PARTY.

Which side are you on?

WAKE UP, or I become a life-long 3rd Party voter.

Voting for the Lessor of the Two Evils means you get to hell one way or the other.

So the solution is for the Democratic Party to turn away from evil,

(torture, unjust perpetual wars, ignoring the working poor and disenfranchised,

and worshiping at the alter profits-at-any-cost corporatism)

and once again become a political party for the good.

Glen beck is a racist and steal so much of what he reports from infowars.com the guy is a joke and Ron Paul has alot of good to give the tea party movement is odd I hear people say it's been highjacked in recent times by the republicans and I think te is the vilest problem in the USA u have a choose between 2 people on election day anyone else Is a wasted vote same as here in te uk 3 party's and that's your lot son it amazes me how we can be so blid to the fact these people are groomed from a young age to be put into these position under the guise of being democraticly elected
Even Barack superman Obama was sold to us as a man that could fix things a peaceful man with love and compassion and what he do when he got in office ? Sent another 10k of your children to go kill people with dark skin I'm the desert to keep the oil and poppy reserves up Afghanistan poppy production has increased expenencaly since the occupation start and that tells me that mi6 and the CIA are better drug dealers that the Taliban the tea partys are an alternative to the norm and ego knows if these people get elected they may just do what's right.

The federal reserve is the biggest enemy to the USA of them all they are no more federal than fedex it's them that issued your money to the bail out in the trillions now they are pushing quantive easing 2 and it's also them that will not tell congress were the money's gone further to that refuse to be audited even after a huge push on the don't be mistaken the fed reserve is destroying the dollar for what's to come

Truth-Seeker, you sound like you might be a fan of Ron Paul, haha. John, I agree, whole-heartedly. Glenn Beck likes to talk about the "Overton Window" a lot, but I don't think he realizes how far to the right it is. It was disappointing in the 2000s to watch the Democratic party submit their responsibility for effective opposition so willingly. That's why I was excited to see Smiley & West interview Russ Feingold, who I remember being so brave in standing alone in the Senate against the Patriot Act. Thankfully, those years are over, but the work isn't, and it seems like we're waiting for a magic wand instead of building the parallel institutions for voluntary social security, while our public infrastructure cracks beneath our feet.
Some good point alex is hard work but he does have valid info I have to say I am one who subscribes to the inside job theory on 9/11.
I live in the uk were over the last 15 years I have seen the problem reaction Solution happen there are 12 CCTV cams to every 1 person we are taxed more heavily than most places on earth and have mandatory insurance pushed on us with no restrictions on prices and further to that the transfer of wealth to the banks was f****** discusting we in the uk are rules by off shore government in the form of the European union IRS hard to not see the bad and barrack has been under wall street control for the term I mean he said he wouldn't bring in lobby groups into his party but Lowe and behold he did I honestly believe no matter who wins the election goverent always gets in

I have to agree with you on Beck. I haven't heard him say anything openly racist, but he does cherry-pick black leaders for criticism and sells a version of reality that is, let's say, thick with racist context. I also agree Paul has done well to redirect the tea party anger toward a justifiable end: the Fed.

The mortgage crisis that hit mainstream America was just a nationwide version of what sapped American inner cities of capital through White Flight. They're just beginning to see what "stimulus" does to a governing body.

Watch out for Alex Jones, his paranoid vision of reality is self-defeating and nihilistic, and it's rooted in an interpretation of scripture that's highly political. I used to live in Austin where he's based, and anyone I know who's had to work with him says he's a bigger tyrant than the conspirators he claims to fight. Really he's as big a tool as Glenn Beck for inciting paranoid fantasies of suburbanites, and they fly planes into buildings, too.

Obama's had to spend his entire presidency cleaning up a really big mess, one that just got messier and bigger over time. I give him credit because he's shown wisdom and patience, which is something I've never seen in a president. Ever. I used to hold Afghanistan against him, because it's so awful that we're there, and we never should have gone in the first place. And it really is a myth that 9/11 justified that invasion. But what was he supposed to do? A power vacuum in a place like that would have international implications. In fact, it could have sparked what we see in Egypt, except with a more Taliban tinge. He did successfully end combat operations in Iraq, now it's up to Congress to cut off the military spending.
