I tweet about Jimmy Carter's phony attack on the 2party system and Roseanne lectures me about not smearing (even though I did not smear and gave a reasoned critique) - and here she is on Smiley & West smearing the Green Party as not racially inclusive when they had a Native American VP nominee in 2000, a VP of Venezuelan descent in 2004, and a black female Presidential nominee in 2008? Sour grapes much?

This is sooooooooooooo phony!
I attended a Smiley & West book Rich & Rest of us book event in the east L.A. area a few months ago.
As usually Smiley & West go on b******* about Obama and their solution is to keep voting for him.
I interrupted their speech and I asked “What about third parties” when they opined something to the effect “What can we do”? regarding how Obama has acted as GWB’s third term in so many ways.
West gave me a smart ass reply to the effect “My grandmother supports justice but I’m not gonna vote for her.”
Tavis ignored the topic of alternative parties. When it came time for the book signing I asked West to pray about it and he replied with a dismissive grunt.
And now to see Roseanne smear the Green Party as racist when they’ve had racial minority candidates as VP or President in the past 3 election cycles is appalling. Sour grapes!
Dr. West you cannot concede to the lesser of evil!!!! Dr. West you’re on record as supportive of marriage equality for gays. So what is your message to gays? Only fight for equal rights in blue states where you know you can win and give up?
Woman’s rights, racial equality, and LGBT equality all started out as un-winnable battles. And that was before the internet age?
We must not be stuck on stupid voting for the 1party system of corporately controlled Democrats & Republicans of war, poverty, and erosion of civil liberties.
If you keep voting for the lesser of evil you’re in an abuser/victim cycle and it will NEVER get better.
Hold Obama’s feet to the fire? Yeah right. He says it’s ok to kill a US citizen if he wants. Open your eyes!

I will keep calling you out for doing the wrong thing so long as you continue to justify and make excuses for and avoid the topic of doing the right thing and voting for alternative political parties. I’ll bring it up at the next event and the next one until you do the right thing and denounce the 2prty system.

The real concerns of who we are as a ethnic group (Black people) revolves around the exploitation and manipulation of the Black poor and/or the Black working class. The Black middle class have become what they believe to be the Black Elite by titles. The Black Intellectuals have been around from and before reconstruction. We all evolved from the Black poor as a result of some form of Slavery. During Slavery there was the House Negro's and the Field Negro's.Today we still have the same groups the Black Elitist and Black Intellectuals are the House Negro's and Black poor and Black working class are the Field Negro's. The House Negro's have forgotten where they come from originally the Black poor.Many of the House Negro's pretend to be concern about the Field Negro's but this is just smoke and mirrors. The question is where and/or whom are the Field Negro's and are they moving up to become House Negro's? Are the Field Negro's just being eliminated and replaced with others?The issues that affect us as Black Americans are accountability for all to include the Black Elite and/or Black Intellectuals and the president. If were going to make exceptions for the Black Elite and/or Black Intellectuals then we have only copied and accepted the white racist system. Then we must find someone to oppress to be true little racist bigots. Whom will that be? Corruption, Racism and Bigotry all go with the system we're inheriting from our oppressors. Is this what we inherited from our grand parents and pass on to our grand children?Ricardo
