To demonstrate their love and affection for the poor and dispossed people they TALK so frequently about, Smiley and West announced Wednesday night they have decided to... take a page out of the Sarah Palin book of gimmicks and a take a bus around the country for a WEEK to TALK more about poor people, ostensibly to some poor people themselves. Really??? Gentlemen, Dr. King had a Poor People's Campaign, not a sight-seeing tour! What a woefully inadequate attempt to fool people into believing you're sharing in his legacy with this stunt.
