That's the most ridiculus discussion that I have heard in a long time.  As soon as anyone mentions not voting I tune them out as fools!  Secondly the Repubs are attacking the President with almost a billion $s in TV ads.  Do we want the President to go into a gun fight with a knife?  I'm so sick of the carnival barkers "smiley & west" complaining. They are small potatoes and basically mute.  We are going to defeat the racist, knuckle dragging repubs.  I'm going to give the brother with his black wife $100.  I want to be part of the defeat of extremism.  Re-elect President Obama 2012!

As usual Tavis ignores a chance to denounce the 2party system and embrace alternative politcal parties. Leading people to vote against their interests by voting for the same 2party system over and over is cruel to the poor.

And sorry but not voting is stupid. The only message it sends is people are lazy and cowardly to take action to change things. The message is politicians will have to do less work to convince less people. They will still win even if just the cnaidates and their family votes form them.

I'm not wasting my vote by not voting of staying stuck on stupid voting for the 2party charade. I'll be voting alternative party.

I did not ask about Nader - who's not running for office now. Obviously Obama's actions are indefensible.
