I understand your concern Jacquelyn.

However, 6 months is plenty of time for a revolution (Arab Spring). Sadly Americans are too lazy, too uneducated, too brainwashed by the corporate media.

Yet some folks will be out marching in Occupy, worker's rallies, woman's rallies, LGBT rallies. Will they keep voting for the same 2party system in a futile attempt to expect different results? Or will they stop rewarding the 2party system that cusses their grievances and vote for alternative political parties?

Getting woman and racial minorities the right to vote was a harder task and that was before the internet so electing an alternative party is not as hard as people think.

It's just about overcoming the fear.

If a ballot measure you opposed seemed like it would pass would you give up or fight anyway?

However, we only have 6 months and I think it may take longer to convince enough people to vote outside the Democratic/republican box. I  agree we need a new party if you will. Nonetheless at this rate I am not sure those on the run LOL will be any different than what we have....

Sheeple ? Frankly, I think anyone who gets into such an oppressive office, including you, will be subjected to the corruption or will be impeached, threatened or even assassinated. I don't think our votes even count for that matter. So until you restructure the "oppressive system" I'll say it again, let's see what happens in reality.
