Spain's Stolen Babies: An Ugly Past On a Staggering Scale

For years there had been rumors in Spain: babies stolen from their mothers at birth by the government in collusion with the Catholic Church.

But now the country is exploding in anger and outrage as the scale of the baby thefts is revealed: An estimated 300,000 newborns taken from their bewildered mothers. It is only in the last few months that the Spanish government has been willing to confront the country’s horrifying past.

It began in the 1930's after dictator Francisco Franco won the Spanish civil war. With his government’s approval the children of dissidents were taken from them and given to “better” families.

But as the politically motivated baby thefts receded in the 1940's they were replaced by an equally offensive form of stealing. Babies were regularly taken from their mothers and sold to other families – for thousands of dollars – by the same doctors and nuns who had delivered them.

The practice continued long after Franco died in 1975. The baby trafficking was unproven until earlier this year when two men — childhood friends — learned that their parents had bought them from a nun.

The BBC interviewed Manoli Pagador in a working-class suburb of Madrid. She has three daughters, but she’s never recovered from the loss of her son almost 40 years ago. Doctors told her he had died. She never believed that.

“Doctors, nuns?” she told the BBC. “I couldn’t accuse them of lying. This was Franco’s Spain. A dictatorship. Even now we Spaniards tend not to question authority.”

But finally Spaniards are demanding answers as years of anger and anguish boil to the surface.

This is nothing new for Catholic Spain. They did the same thing with Indian babies in South America during the slave trade, as did the other Christian slavemsaters in America.

 The corrupt Catholic Church: Genocidal NATO, Jesuit assassins, pedophile priests, and and baby kidnapping nuns. And where is the Pope (who parades as the right hand of God) during all these centuries of the atrocities of slavery, suffering and death by Christian Catholics. Where is this Pope today? We don't hear a peep from him. Why? Because he is in agreement with the NATO atrocities. NATO is a white race Christian body. We wonder how much tithe will the Pope get from the grand theft of Lybian oil and billions stolen from overseas bank accounts. As the head of Christianity, he ought to be the loudest voice of condemnation of corruption, wickedness, slavery, suffering and death commited only be Christians on the earth. He cannot claim he (they) did not know.

At one time, when the boundaries of our Faith was much clearer and not diluted, maybe, but at this juncture in time, the Pope is NOT the head of Christianity, and if I might add, he is as fallible as the rest of us. We all need to pray for the correct Wisdom and Understanding of such matters. It is vital, however, that we Love our neighbors as we Love ourselves. As for the information, that you have put forth, I pray that these families find comfort and peace within their souls. In the name of the Everlasting God, I bid you peace, in the name of Jesus. God is the final Judge of us all.

Jesuits or "Society of Jesus"



The most celebrated of all the Roman Catholic religious orders was founded in the 6th century by Ignatius Loyola (Loyola University) and was established by a papal bull in 1540 AD.



The "Society of Jesus" was one of many similar communities that grew up in the Latin Christianity. Like several of them, it is a congregation of ecclesiastics living in accordance with a definite rule, whence technically called "Clerks Regular."



One of its chief duties is either to "convert infidels and heretics", or exterminate them; and the extent of these duties appears more fully in a portion of the Jesuit
Oath, printed in the Congressional Record, February 15,1913 pp. 3215-16, as follows:



' I do further promise and declare, that I will, when opportunity presents, make and wage relentless war, secretly or openly against all heretics, Protestants, and Liberals, as I am directed to do to extirpate and exterminate them from the face of the whole earth; and that I will spare neither sex, age, nor condition; and that I will hang, waste, boil, flay, strangle and bury alive these infamous heretics; rip up the stomachs and wombs of their women and crush their infant's heads against the wall, in order to annihilate forever their execrable race.
