The black conservative is trying to navigate around allegations that he sexually harassed at least three women, implying that the accusations surfaced because he is black. Hours after the claims were reported, Cain's supporters branded his trouble a "high-tech lynching." That's the term coined 20 years ago by another black conservative, Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, after his confirmation hearings for the court were rocked by allegations of sexual harassment.

Cain's supporters have pinned blame on a white GOP presidential rival, on liberals afraid of a "strong black conservative" and on mainstream media interested in "guilty until proven innocent." But by playing the race card with the Thomas precedent, his backers belied the "post-racial" America that President Barack Obama was said to have brought about in the United States — and that they, too, promote

Greetings:

(The above is from an Associated Press release by Jessee Holland)

First let me declare that I am a Herman Cain supporter. He's the best thing since Ross Perot!

The real twist here is that the people whinning about a "high-tech lynching" are the ones doing the lynching. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas was (in my opinion) guilty of what Anita Hill accused him of at his confirmation hearings. I seriously doubt that this distinguished woman would go before the world, under oath, and swear a lie against an innocent man. But as a politician and a lawyer, Thomas was/is a liar like 95% of his colleagues.

Now here we are today with another black politician, Herman Cain, accused of sexual harrassment. Herman knows these women just didn't come out of the blue with these charges. Even if the charges were all false, I (as a former administrator) would still remember every detail of the charges, especially since the accusers were paid to not say anything else. We all know that settlements are made usually because the accused knows fully well that if the charges went before a jury, a guilty verdict would most likely be handed down for a lot more money than what any settlement would cost.

If a man (or woman) knows they have skeletons of a financial, moral, ethical, or legal nature in the closet, why do you run for politcal office? You know it is going to come to the surface, but your ego won't allow you to come face to face with the truth. Your liar/lawyer advisors won't tell you the truth of this likelihood, so you can avoid the embarassment of hypocricy....not so much for you, but for the humility you bring your family through.

So, instead of admitting his indescretions, the Cain camp now cries racism and "high-tech lynching" because the accused is black. Elliot Spitzer, former New York Govenor, nor Congressman Weiner cried anti-semitism when they were faced with their accusations.....or we can say when they were "caught". Arnold took it like a man....lol....he didn't cry anti-Austrian.  In either case the press did not let up an inch nor are they going to do so for Cain.

Sorry, Bro. Herman, but this is no "high-tech lynching"....this is simply a case of did you or did you not.  Please don't pull a Weiner-move on us with the denials. Maybe the accusers can't make public statements due to non-disclosure agreements, but you better believe these women have friends and family who know exactly what happened....and they are not bound by any such agreements. They will talk. So, it is better to hear from you than knowledgable 3rd parties.

With the exception of Weiner and Spitzer, as mentioned above, black people and Jews have a long history in the public of falsely crying "racism" and "anti-semitism" when they are caught with their hands in the pot. If you get accused of a wrong doing stop crying out that the only reason you're being accused is because of who you are.....both communities need to grow up and get over it. Stop coping out and face the music of the Truth!.....Peace

ShahNote:

I admit I did give Herman Cain much credit for intelligence and that he had a good chance to maybe at least get a VP nod, but he has proven himself to be a class A, bonified, certified, ignorant j****** - he's the first black "Cracker" I have witnessed. In the memorable intro words of Paul Harvey....."And now the rest of the story...."

...Herman Cain Fears Doctors with Muslim-Sounding Names
By Eric Randall | The Atlantic Wire – Mon, Nov 21, 2011....

Herman Cain has taken to telling Christian audiences an anecdote in which he feared being seen by a doctor with the last name Abdallah during his cancer treatments until he learned the doctor was Christian. Yahoo News's Chris Moody quotes Cain telling the story to an audience at The Holy Land Experience, a Christian-themed amusement park in Florida:

I said to his physician assistant, I said, 'That sounds foreign--not that I had anything against foreign doctors--but it sounded too foreign," Cain tells the audience. "She said, 'He's from Lebanon.' Oh, Lebanon! My mind immediately started thinking, wait a minute, maybe his religious persuasion is different than mine! She could see the look on my face and she said, 'Don't worry, Mr. Cain, he's a Christian from Lebanon.'"

"Hallelujah!" Cain says. "Thank God!"

Dave Weigel at Slate notes that Cain has told this story before. He reminds readers (and perhaps Cain?) that Lebanon is actually about 35 percent Catholic or Orthodox Christian, and writes, "You're left to wonder what would have happened had the doctor been a Muslim or a Druze or something. You're also left asking: Uh, why does Cain think this story's such a home run with Christian audiences?"
