If were going to make exceptions for the Black Elite and/or Black Intellectuals then we have only copied and accepted the white racist system. Then we must find someone to oppress to be true little racist. Whom will that be? Corruption, Racism and Bigotry all go with the system we're inheriting from our oppressors.

Permalink Reply by jimmy pratt on March 24, 2012 at 8:03pm The whole world knows that Obama can’t possibly win without Black voters. Why can’t Black people see that is power? That power and our willingness to use it to change things should be in the mind of anyone wanting to harm our children. We could use it to ban bad cops from our communities and cut off federal aid to police departments that discriminates.
Having said that, Trayvon Martin is dead because Malcolm X is dead and no one picked up the torch. In the 1990s millions of young Blacks picked up the torch by donning caps with a big X on it and only Hollywood knew the value of it. Had Malcolm X lived an entire generation of black adults would have reached age 49 while reaping the benefits of having heard all of their lives about owning businesses, staying in school, loving yourself, caring for your family and more. In that void Al Sharpton and the civil rights industry was created because their message had no opposition. So when you say Karma will exact revenge, you’re right. And it has.
The whole world watch Black adults sit silent as Black kids murdering each other became the leading cause of their death. We were also silent when 49 people including a 6 year old baby were murdered on a weekend in South Chicago. And less not forget the 16 year old boy that was murdered almost in the same spot as Trayvon. Now we are suppose to convince the moral universe that we care about Trayvon when we didn’t care about all the others in the last 30 years. Trayvon is what happens when we put less value on our children than PETA puts on animals. Yes Karma is at work; Zimmerman pulled the trigger and Black people loaded the gun. We reap what we sow

First we must identify the different social levels in the Black community.
Second we must identify Pan-Africa.
The above shows just a few of the social economical differences among Black people. Some of the other dividing factors are age, color, mixture of white blood and language abilities. The most important issue in the Black community is social status, not Job’s, education and/or equal protection under the law. We have reached a point where titles and/or degree’s and position are our driving force in life. Some of US Black people were raised to be the best at what ever we aspired to be. Others among US have accepted to be just as corrupt as our oppressor. Today we hold positions of status not true power because power has corrupted US as it did our oppressor. Power in the hands of a child is dangerous as our oppressor believe. This is why today’s decisions are similar to our oppressors. Today we oppress ourselves out of fear of what our former and present oppressor may think. The laws of the country no longer apply to US Black people made clear by the lack of enforcement by the local, state and federal government. Today we fear to hold the president accountable for anything to avoid the criticism of the far right. What lies can we tell ourselves to believe this can lead to a prosperous future for our children and grand children.
Jimmy, Black vote made a difference in only 6 states during the 2008 presidential election. Now saying that during the 2010 midterm election of those six states (Ohio, N Carolina, Florida, Indiana, Va, and Md) how many went red? Don't be fooled Nationally the "Black" vote has nearly became non revelant.

In a week of circus like activity for the GOP, Republican Congressman Allen West may have taken the award for the most over the top statement ever given. @Jimmy. Blacks came out in numbers back in 2008 based on expectations of something to change along with the emotional excitement of a First Black U.S President. Since then the swocio-economic conditions for Blacks and black African-Americans has regressed. Another point many are disappointed that Ron Paul has not taken on for his monetary policies are what could stop the continuing fiscal madness. Given some more tangible reasons like disenfrancisement and so on, I doubt you will see that re-enactment again anytime soon.
Permalink Reply by Ricardo Jones on March 26, 2012 at 6:25am Thank you Pianki. We do have to challenge statements from our elected officials to include the president. We don't give passes based on color and/or race. Too many of US accept anything because it looks like change. Accountability for all.

Permalink Reply by safirah chinwe on March 26, 2012 at 5:32pm with all do respect Mr. Pratt, is it really power to withhold votes from Obama so that the republican nominee wins? Painki might be on to something because I've yet to notice a black voters block making a state blue. Obama really needs the youth vote more than the black vote to be honest.

Permalink Reply by jimmy pratt on March 26, 2012 at 8:20pm There are two Black Americas. They are seperate and unequal. This is clearly visable in who civil rights leaders, Black politicians and other prominent blacks will come to the aid of. When compared, it is almost impossible to find a poor and or working class Black person they have helped.
