Okay ladies, I know most women are not like this one, but are there really a shortage of good black men or is this guy just unique?

ACT LIKE A LADY AND THINK LIKE ONE, TOO!

I grew up watching The Steve Harvey Show on television. Once upon a time, I thought Steve Harvey was funny, and I even listened to his radio show. Over time, not only did he no longer make me laugh, I became repulsed by his arrogance, disrespect for women and the buffoonery he and “His Morning Crew,” spew on the radio every morning.

It’s been three years since I read his book and honestly, I cannot justly review it because I had to get it out of my house! I will tell you this. . . I cannot believe I spent money on it. Ain’t no women I know, wanna act like no man! Not only is S.H. not an expert on relationships, he is no expert on men. S.H. for your information, some men are excellent communicators and sublimely tender. If you wrote this book for your four daughters, you’re going to need more than a “Wing & a Prayer”!

I’m pretty, petite, and blonde, with green eyes. I grew up in the “hood.” My soon to be 27 year old daughter is a black OB/GYN and Halle Berry ain’t got nothin on her! When I look at her and her dark chocolate, 6 feet five inch man – I see what love looks like and I pray for his safe return from Afghanistan.

Now, if Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man, is something you want me to review, you’re going to have to pay me to do so, because I wouldn’t waste my time re-reading it!

I never read the book nor do I plan on reading it. There are all kinds of men in the world...some kind ...some cruel. I believe if you truly know yourself...getting to know another should be smoother.
