I speak out in attempts be heard to be listened to for my words for my voice to have some value. i speak for the child that has lost his way but still has his or her life. i speak for the mother who is singing gone to soon about one of her babies. I speak for the voiceless for the down and out the poverty stricken the half education getting young man and women that is my purpose that is my mission to be heard for the sake of the ones who know one listens too.
I posted a blog our two put up a few videos all in attempt to to try to garner support for our youth, I see all these topics all the politics all of the issues being discussed on this site i read all the conversations being held by all these great minds and great thinkers. How we are speaking out and listening to the hot topics, yet i talk about the 16 yr.old Dominique Delvin who was shot dead. The Ray brown Dawkins who was another bright light gunned down way to soon another childhood lost he was only sixteen way to young way to soon. I post a blog about our future leaders who won't get there shot wont get there chance yet i feel no support two responses for these topics for these young people. I understand that we have alot of issues today as a people alot of things to combat and to stand up for and speak up and out for and against but again our most precious resource, the ones where our most faith should lye, are being destroy being picked apart and mostly by each other! This is my mission i am nobody now but i will become loud and someone will hear me for there sake, I will garner a voice an opinion a blog or comment worth more than one or two responses. I was A childhood lost i was a youth that had no future that only saw a wall in front of me that i kept running up against thinking i would break it down only to keep destroying myself but, God showed me favor he lift me up not with riches and fame but thru hardship and heartache so that I could relate so that i could speak for the speechless this is my calling this is my journey and i will garner a voice if not for me but for all the childhoods lost and the ones that are being lost as i am writing this post.
I love this site i respect its content and its members it is thought provoked and refreshing. With that said may more discussion and topics be brought to the forefront discussing our youth exposing the atrocity of a young man being shot dead for not paying bus fare, or the death of a three year old boy tortured by his babysitter or a young lady I knew 16yr old Dominique Delvin who was shot dead for reason still not really discovered.

Try not to be disheartened. One day at a time. Maybe we're numbed after daily reports of society's ills of dismemberments, suicide attacks, mass killings, war crimes and all. Seeing missing children on cable tv and the court trials of them found deceased. I don't know. But I do know it won't stop if NOBODY says anything about it and report it to the proper authorities for investigation and special police monitoring of high crime neighborhoods. Let me know if I can do anything to help. People need to be educated on the dangers out there and at home. Each one reach one.
P.S. As long as your message (blog) was read... a seed has been planted. (smile)

I lost a young nephew and I just can't talk or write about it. I read your post. That's about all I can do on that topic for right now.

Please forgive my ignorance I know my words don't always come together right i just hope that my passion for our youth over powers my grammar.

I hear you too. At times I feel the same. Trying to inject positive words, songs , and poems. I find myself like LibyaWest. I read a lot of post and don't always comment. I'm trying to get better even if its just a "Right On, or "Tell me more" I did want to read more about the last young brother you spoke of. I will try to check your page as well. also as Avid said God my be leading you to more. He is with me as well. Its tough but I can suggest a good book to read as you move. "Fail Up". not to be funny but Tavis touched on some great gospel points about our self growth. I think you will like it. Stay lifted
