How do we come together as a nation of Black Americans to take a stand against the moral degredation that's plaguing our communities?

Good question, I've been searching for the answer to that one for a while. I believe the only way to combat moral degradation is by learning the knowledge of self. We must look deep inside ourselves and ask why do I behave the way that I do? Is my behavior in line with the teachings of The Most High or are they in line with the adversary? People who claim they believe in God need to KNOW GOD and then their morals will mirror righteousness.

There should be a call to the people of D.C. to join a membership based organization that has an all encompassing program. We need to transmit norms and values but we cannot expect people to adopt them without support. People need to belong to organizations that are capable of exercising informal social control. These institutions should stress moral and economic development.

Its a delightful question, and one that has been answered many times, for generation from both men, and women who have sacrificed their lives at times to speak truth to power. Not only to are direct open face enemy, but the worse of enemies " Ourselves, and the self denial of acting upon logical truth" when we HEAR it and taking the appropriate actions to bring such truths into fruition.
We are traders when we refuse to listen to are beautiful GOD given common sense. If we want resolution to are plagues of degradation, we need not look any further than the simple laws that govern this universe. One being the law of cause and effect. We have historically and continue to this minute try to solve are downfalls by constantly applying this law backwards, and spending precious time talking about the effect, verses what caused the effect in the first place.

My sentiments exactly. As an annotation, religion (Is a latin word, and when broken down RE- means again or re-establish / Ligion: To Connect) is the bases of any humane society. The fact of the matter is that as Black folk, and the rest of humanity have been given a Lie for generations of the true knowledge and understanding of GOD, and self. Because of this false connection with GOD, we need to re-connect with him by indoctrinating a teaching based on Truth, Justice, and Equality. In closing you would think with all the churches we have per square inch across the U.S, we would have a productive, and unionized community, when in fact it is nothing more than a spiritual, and mental slaughter house, ran by many, but not all House Negro perpetrating as servants of GOD, when they are serving Satan. Its easy to tell what is the correct choice in relationship to serving GOD, just look at the religion that are enemy fears, and hates the most.

So very, very true cause and effect.  Black people so busy TALKING and whining about the effects they have forgotten who they are which is the cause.  We are not as divided as some may want us to believe.  See how easily we all came together for President Obama?  I saw the same thing happen for Harold Washington...massive cohesiveness among black folks.  But it's because we think we have found a "savior".  We will rally around a "savior" like flies to isht.  Just look at how many church pews filled up with black folks.  But when it comes to looking inside ourselves to save ourselves, then we got talk, talk, talk, and whining and more whining.  It's easier to think a "savior" will make us better people, make our communities better, give us better jobs, housing and whatnot, save us from ourselves.  But when reality slaps us in the face, the reality that we must put forth an effort to save ourselves by living in the image of our Creator(s) then here we go with the whining/blame game.  Yes, there is racism...always has been, will be til the end of time.  Yes, there is oppression...always has been.  Yes there are those who want to divide, incarcerate, alienate, black folks for fear of our divinity, but what do WE want??!!  Better yet, what are we willing to DO to get what we want??!!  That is the only question left unanswered.  What are we as black folks willing to DO to save OURSELVES.  The minutes our Creator(s) see us make an effort to DO something, you will see the powers that created us and the entire universe intervene on our behalf.  The powers that be that oppresses us know this, it's why they divide us, it's why the hide our history, it's why they decimate our families, it's why they impose their so-called superiority over us.  We the only ones that don't know.  It is because we have become complacent.  Some who have "made" it out, those with the most resources...of so-called intelligence and cash are the most complacent.  To those folks, you have my sincere condolences because you are already dead.  You may be living the life in your oppressors version happiness, but your soul is dead and lifeless.
