Smiley & West deconstruct President Obama’s controversial comments at a Congressional Black Caucus Foundation event.

Smiley: The part that hurts the most is watching Black folk applaud as they're being insulted.

West: It was offensive, condescending, insulting, disrespectful. It had an arrogance to it, almost a cynicism to it that was profoundly disappointing.

If you didn't get my joke get someone to explain it to you.

Can spell Buddha, but cannot differentiate between "rode" and "road." God help his ignorance!

Thank you for your thoughtful contribution. I will continue to provide first draft unedited copy for you to critique. Enlightenment is the end of an infinite progression, I am not your Buddha on the rode so there is no need to show your homicidal rage.

Great points. maybe you and I can dialog on a topic someday.

There is a serious lack of knowledge here and then some outright mis-representations. I would hope people would educate themselves on the basics of government and know that not only is the President missing from Wall Street but most of the investors, including myself, are not there. Wall street is the location or  processing house for transactions. Investors are seldom there;they may have representatives there but most are like myself at home or traveling with a phone calling the shots they want to make happen. Not to mention of course, Wall street is a private organization and the government has little or nothing to do with it unless it involves legislation. The President has passed some legislation that involves 'transparency' which simply means people have a little more access to information about what is going on there and that is it. Once again we have a seperation of powers in this country: Presidential, legislative, and judiciary. The president is not a one man show or he would be a dictator. If you elect a bunch of republicans who say outright they want him to fail;what do you really expect. I am starting to lose interest in this forum because people do not appear to be really interested in educating themselves on what is happening. Just a lot of talk.

Mr. Modicum ad Hominem,

Of course not. How were we supposed to get your jokes? They were meant for your class (of psychos)!
