Homosexuality is legal in all states.  No one can be arrested for homosexual relationships.  They may not be able to marry or have civil unions in all states, but the law used to outlaw any homosexual activities.  Housing, jobs and military were not the rights of homosexuals which is why they were in the closet.

I am sure you think you know what you are saying, but I am certain you do not. Please research and study this subject as well as your ENTIRE bible, then form an opinion.Most americans go by what they see and hear, and 95% of that is wrong. Following is a link to prove that homosexuality/sodomy is still against the law in most states. I am aware that the law does not always prosecute, but it is the law.

In 2003 the US Supreme Court ruled that sodomy laws could not be directed solely at homosexuals.  I have read the entire bible four times. Sexual acts between consenting adults (depending on the age of consent in each state; varying from age 16 to 21), and adolescents of a close age, of the same sex have been legal nationwide in the U.S. since 2003, pursuant to the U.S. Supreme Court ruling in Lawrence v. Texas.

Sodomy is only illegal in one state according to further research.  However, the U.S. Supreme Court has said that discrimination against one because of the gender of sex participants is illegal within the U.S.  Even though it may still be on the books in one state, it is unenforceable.  I am not saying whether or not the U.S. Supreme Court is right or wrong.  I am just saying that it has decided.

I do not concern myself with what adults do in their bedrooms because I don't want church folks or anyone else in my bedroom or personal life. The secret things done in the darkness will be brought into the light and God who can discern even between our thoughts and who knows the intentions of our hearts will be the judge of us all. I observe what the prophets say, but Jesus words themselves are the final authority in all words because it is he who explains to us, what we have mixed up over generations upon generations. Just like he said of marriage, that it has been allowed for man to give woman a certificate of divorce, because of men hardheadedness, but that it was not 'God intention at all for man to divorce his wife.

Jesus corrected even moses. The Ten commandments were even summed up into just two commandments: Love God with all your heart, soul and vital force and Love your neighbor. Summed up in loving your neighbor is not coveting anything that belongs to your neighbor or murder.

God gave us all free will, but anyone who wants to know God, God will reveal himself to that person. If God gave people up to their own desires, and they love the creation more than the creator, that is between them and God. If Christians turned themselves into good examples for the world, the homosexuals would be trying to find out about that happiness instead of with the same sex.

The bottom line is, if I am asked if what they are doing is wrong, I would say yes, but so is what the rest of the world, including gossiping among church folks. All sins are bad. David killed Bathsheba's husband. Is his sin less than a homosexual or that homosexual getting married? Sarah was Abraham sister. They had different mothers but the same father. However, God loved Abraham. In Levitus it talks about not even sleeping with an aunt, so should a man sleep with his sister? Yet, God loved Abraham.

God will judge himself homosexuals, because it is only he who knows their thoughts and intentions of their hearts and or if something is biochemically wrong with them that affects their thinking abilities. Science has not gotten humans there yet. However, even when science do, it will not be able to read the intentions of the heart as ONLY the true God can.

Let them marry and let God show his glory when he is ready.

He, God "allowed" Pharoah to be obstinate, so that he could show his glory, when the time was right.

And there are other instances too. He did so with the High Priest who pushed for Jesus death too, in that unknowing to the priest, Jesus death was truly an ever lasting sacafrice-wrong spelling- for our sins.

 

So, I say, Leave the things for God to handle in the hands of God, but if people come and asked for a christian guidance, lead them to Christ.

I agree with you wholeheartedly Christine R. Rickett.  I believe God will separate the wheat from the tares. While some are hoping for the salvation of homosexuals, are they proselytizing homosexuals?  I have had a couple of homosexuals accompany me to church.  Whether or not it did any good, I don't know.  However, to say you want them saved and not to at least encourage them to attend church services is beyond my scope of understanding.
