		A new report reveals that innocent children have been killed by U.S. drones under the command of President Obama, while the Nobel Peace Prize selection process is under investigation. Smiley: This is a backdoor declaration of policy that the American people have not had their say on because Congress, as yet, have not had any hearings on this. West: This is the very way in which the soul that we have left as a nation will be devoured by this kind of immoral killing of innocent people.

A bill has passed in the House and Senate this week that would allow the presence of drones in U.S. civilian airspace. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Reauthorization Act requires the FAA to alleviate many current rules on domestic drone authorization. Drones would now be able to fly in the same airspace as commercial airliners, private planes, and cargo jets. Up to 30,000 drones could be allowed in U.S. airspace by the end of the decade.

The Senate passed the bill on Monday, 75-20 and allots $63.4 billion to the FAA. President Obama is expected to sign it into law.

ACLU, among other civil liberties groups, is expressing grave concern for civilian privacy, as the legislation does not restrict drone surveillance activities by police and federal government agencies.

"I'm sure glad we elected a pro-civil liberties constitutional law professor as President in 2008. I'd hate to have a Republican President who would expand the use of drones, keep Gitmo open, assassinate American citizens, refuse to investigate past torture, and prosecute more whistleblowers than any previous administration in history".

WTF Democrats now supporting Drones....what a shameful and sad state of affairs and ALL of Congress s/b fired!  I know we’re all focused on the GOP crisis/campaign now and have probably taken our eyes off the president’s sloppy counter-intelligence policies, but please people....this confirms it and the message is clear: RE-ELECT NO ONE!!!
