Thanks for uploading this...very thought provoking.  Always like seeing anything about Malcolm.  A man who was demonized for standing up for his human rights.  While Dr. King is the face of the Civil Rights Movement in America, Malcolm was still a vital figure.  Malcolm represented a challenge to the non-violence preached by Dr. King yet did not advocate outright attacks against whites.  Brother Minister believed that self-defense was not violence, but intelligence.

Non-violence is something for which we all strive, but self-defense is a necessity in a cruel world.

Listening to the Malcolm X special on KPFk (KPFK.org).  It will be on from 10:00am to Midnight PST). Some of it has be archived.  For those who want an intro to Brother Colonel Gadhafi and Libya, Dedon Kamathi Carr gives an excellent synopsis.  The other discussions are also boss!
The Malcolm X programming doesn't start again until 5:pm pst.
