Permalink Reply by Sage on August 16, 2011 at 3:01pm I like Ghadaffi because he has advocated for all African countries to unite and you see that is why he is the biggest enemy to those with Western interest. It's a shame and a half that Obama who has direct ties to that continent ordered strikes against an African country.
Ghadaffi has been the most progressive leader in Africa. He is the only leader that I can think of that actually took money that was made by oil profit to help the people of his country and beyond the borders of Libya!

I would have still voted for Obomba no matter what his flaws as president....but to take out his hatred for his father on the Mother country is dispicable. He wants to prove he is not a Muslim by reigning hell on Muslims. He is a wicked cold hearted person. He voted against a bill while in office in Illinois. This bill simply said that if an abortion was unsuccessful and the fetus is alive - that the fetus should be treated to sustain the life, instead of leaving it on a shelf, gurney or counter top to die. This fellow voted against the bill. It did not pass. Can you believe that? This character has a cold heart. He voted to do away with funds for heat in Chicasgo this past winter. He is only black by complexion. He is of his mother's people. He really is an Irishman. He has no connect to the black experience in America as he is not an ex-slave from here or the Carribbean area. No ex-slave would have ever did what he has done in Africa. Burrack is a white man....pure and simple....Just like there are many people of the Black family who look white (those with Indian blood) ther obviously are people who look black like him who are white in their spirit and nature. He does nt have a Black man's character.

In Benghazi, a Nostalgia for Gaddafi as Libya's Rebels Fail to Keep the Peace
By Steven Sotloff / Benghazi Tuesday, Aug. 16, 201
The killing of a senior rebel military commander who was spearheading the campaign to topple Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi has exposed latent security fears in eastern Libya — particularly about the proliferation of militias and gangs who do not seem to answer to any authority. Underlying it all is the issue of whether the rebel government, which has recently made some military gains against Gaddafi, is capable of guaranteeing the safety of the Libyans it already is in charge of.
The death of Major General Abdel Fatah Younis under mysterious circumstances on July 29 has left many residents of what is called Free Libya questioning how the rebels' political organization can ensure their safety when it could not even protect its chief soldier. The National Transitional Council's (NTC) inability to provide security for areas under rebel control has made a few locals nostalgic for Gaddafi and the stability his brutal regime provided.
Younis was called back from the front to respond to undisclosed charges on July 28. The next day NTC chairman Mustafa Abdel Jalil announced his death although the council could not produce his body. The rebels' Finance Minister Ali Tarhouni quickly blamed a rogue Islamist brigade of fighters for the assassination, even though the NTC dispatched hundreds of soldiers in an 85-car convoy to take Younis back to their capital, Benghazi.
(See scenes from the battle for Libya.)
Tarhouni's accusations have kindled fears about the proliferation of dozens of militias who do not answer to the NTC's military leaders but to their own brigade commanders. These units possess sophisticated weaponry, ranging from antitank missiles to rocket-propelled grenades, which some worry could be used to settle personal accounts. Sporadic gunfire can be heard daily in the rebel capital, and hundreds of men walk around town armed with Kalashnikov assault rifles.
Abdel Jalil alluded to the problem of militias in an Aug. 6 press conference when he said, "Arms on the street will be reordered for best use ... there is no need for all these armed groups within the cities." His comments did not go unnoticed in Benghazi. "If the NTC cannot bring these militias under their control, how do they expect us to trust them to protect us?" asked a resident outside a local grocery store.
For months Benghazi citizens feared that Gaddafi's revolutionary committees and a fifth column loyal to him were wreaking havoc in the city. But today their concerns focus on gangs wearing the army fatigues favored by the rebels, terrorizing citizens and robbing them at gunpoint. "It is not safe anymore to travel in some parts of the city," says Dawud Salimi, 41. "Criminals are taking advantage of the instability for their own profit." Recently, they have targeted foreigners. A group of men wearing military outfits broke into the hotel room of a Western journalist, assaulted her and ran off with her electronic equipment.
(See TIME's video on the U.S. recognition of the Libyan rebels.)
The security unrest has made many worry about what will happen if the rebels finally overthrow Gaddafi. "People speak of tribes settling old accounts and power struggles emerging," says political-science professor Salah Senoussi of Garyounis University. "Gaddafi's fall could turn out to be the opening salvo in a prolonged conflict between various factions. And with all these brigades having their own weapons and not answering to the NTC, we could see a lot more violence."
Such security fears have left some longing for Gaddafi. "There were a lot of problems under Gaddafi," says Ali, 41, a launderer who asked that his last name not to be published because he was speaking about a sensitive topic. "But at least we knew what to expect and he could provide us security. Today we don't know what will happen tomorrow, and that worries people." And with the NTC unable to assuage their concerns or arrest Younis' killers, residents there fear that the security situation will only deteriorate.
Permalink Reply by Sage on August 17, 2011 at 9:26am I definitely DO agree with you that Obama definitely take out his hatred for his father on Blacks whether in America as well as Africa and he showed that when he went to visit the continent in 2009 and just dissed the people.
My Pops has a friend from Kenya and Pops told me that his friend's village was planning a big celebration for Obama in Kenya because they thought he would come to his father's country and they were crushed when he bypassed them and on top of that,he actually diminished the effect that colonialism had on Africa, many Africans were completely done with him at that point. Mr. Dahir was a person along with other Africans that ACTUALLY supported his campaign monetarily!

Just so we are clear. I am in agreement with you Sis. Christine. My point of clarification is that Obama has cancelled himself out. Black people have a history here of accepting all as their own. We are the most welcoming people on the earth. Most likely because in our nature we know that we are the parents of all human beings. They are our children. We are a very just and aggreeable people to get along with. White women who birth black children know, that without a question, they are refused in the white commuinity but are most welcomed in the black community and so are their children and relatives (the few) who may venture to visit them. Black people have always accepted mixed children as their own. We accept Halle, Alicia and Mariah as our own ....hands down.
But with Obama, he has demonstrated his contempt for black....from Illinois to DC. One cannot fake the genuine natural compassion and affection that the ex-slave has for others....even when it is to our own detriment. That's just how we are. Obama has come into the presidency and has publically called for the assasination of Ghadaffi. "Ghadaffi must go" means by any means necessary. He wants to kill a man who has done nothing to USA; steal his billions that Ghadaffi trusted was safe in American banks; verified plans to steal the $40 Billion in gold reserves in Lybia; steal that country's oil to support the USA dying economy; he expressed no remorse for the deaths of Ghadaffi's family by NATO aggression; now he supports destroying the water supply (the cleanest water in Africa) and the backup system to repair the water supply when in need of repair. This is insanity. White people have commitied attrocities against Third World people for the last 4000 years since they have been out of the caves of Europe. This is how they rule: slavery, suffering, kidnapping, rape, robbery, thievery, lies, deceit, and death. But to have a black man in office who follows the same pattern of aggression, to me, is unbelievable - and it takes a lot to shock me!
This is a vicious, contemptable action on the part of our "brother" and his administration. He went to England and Ireland and was very relaxed and at home with the NATO (white people) countries, but has nothing but aggression, and murder of innocent civilians in the mother country of his father and 30 million black people (most of whom voted for him). He thinks nothing of destroying the most successful African country. Why? Because, Ghadaffi preaches for the unity of Africans for Africa and economic independence from the white race (NATO) and their destructive genocidal tricks to take over all of the natural resources of the African continent and the forced genocide through starvation of the black Africans from Somalia to South Africa.
Many will agree with what is stated here. It has nothig at all to do with not accepting Obama because of his complexion. His skin color is what condems him for the attrocities he is commiting in Africa against his own kind. He gave us up. We did not give him up. But, if he is happy without us, then we are as happy without him. I pray he loses the next election. He has disqualified himself of the trust of all people of Peace.

After looking and listening to many of the videos on this site and especially to the events going on with Libya, I understand why many are so upset with Obama. I learned alot listening to Farrakhan explain the shape Libya was in before Ghadaffi came to power and all the good he has done for Libya since he's been in power, making Libya one of the most healthiest African nation in the continent. Yes, every black person who knows the history of how Africa has been raped of it's resources and people by the French, Europeans and Americans have every right to be upset with Obama. Even I raised an eyebrow about Obama after learning from you all. So, in that area, I am curious to know what convinced him or who convinced him to get involved with the Libyians internal affairs.
I would think - hope - he has some love for his people despite being abandoned by his father. Here in America, most men black and white usually despise their fathers who have abandoned them from childhood. In Obama's case all he had was his white family's love. I remember hearing about what he wrote in one of his books where he was trying to find himself.

Obama even though he had to find out who he was, and I have sympathy for him but! I feel you and every black american have a right to feel as you do because of the bombing of Libya. I had only understood it from the white media perspective as I am sure many other blacks who are not up on history.
I really am learning alot.
Although I am pro black, I do have difficulties referring to all whites as demons. I don't believe we can trust most of them and I certainly wouldn't take a chance giving information to any of them that would hurt my people but at the same time I don't feel all of them are demons. Regardless of whether some fought the civil war for their own finacial benefit or for religious reasons-nevertheless they fought to abolish slavery. Hundreds of Thousands also march hand in hand with blacks in Washington DC during the Civil Rights movement and many of them got beat up and some died. There were many whites in my moms circle as well who stood out for equal rights for blacks. So, my heart can not say all white people are demons.
I am with you on the issues in Africa. White people should forever keep their guns and bombs out of Africa, especially since they took advantage of the tribal wars to obtain slaves and divided, mistreated and killed so many black families.
I still feel for him because he's between a rock and a hard place.
There are people today to hate their mothers or fathers who abandoned them when they were young. I don't think though that he hates his own people. If that was so he would have married a white woman. And look at how many black men in leadership positions who despise their race and have married white women
