Smiley: "Torture is not just illegal. It’s a crime against humanity."

Hate and fear bring out the worst in us. It alters our already shakey perceptions of one another. We are all Gods children and he loves us all the same. Reject all that isn't of God (hate and fear), claim your inheritance (love) and ask God to work on your vision through your heart. In the mean time... Lets get a conviction in Spain and move forward toward peace and brotherly love.  Amen. :)

I am Not Jesus Christ, Jesus came to Save, Not me. I will Not Bring evil into my life. I would rather March with seven Good men, then 40 evil one's.

Peace,

It seems like the rule of law does not matter anymore. I cannot choose which laws to obey with executive signing statements. It seems like there is a double standard with those that are in government.

I do not have any fact's so, I will not speak on your statement's

As in the case of everything human (add the rule of law), there is no perfection. There have been grave atrocities committed right under the out-spread arms and baby-buttock smooth nostrils of the Fair Lady.

Executive-suite criminals commit fraud and insider trading, ripping off the public in millions of dollars. The system allows them to buy their freedom out of punishment and give back a fraction of their loot, if at all. Some government officials abuse their offices with impunity and commit in-your-face corruption; they walk home freely, with at best, a slap on the wrist. In contrast, in some states, small-time criminals steal cookies out of liquor stores and face the prospect of life in prison, courtesy of a three-strike law. We need a one-strike law (preferably a Divine one) to hold the powerful guilty to account. The voice of the people, they say, is the voice of God.... Latin lovers, fill in the blank.

@Yome Ace  I couldn't have said it better than you.

Thanks Akil. But I believe it is louder and more effective when chorused! Thanks for lending your voice too.
