I was so totally devastated on Sunday's NPR show about Black Religious Leaders telling their congregations not to vote for President Obama unless he meets with them to discuss his support of the Gay & Lesbian community/ I grew up in the South before there was a Civil Rights movement & left to try to escape the beliefs I was surrounded by & to work for, hope for, a time when everyone was treated equally.  It has taken many years & many great & courageous people's lives to make our country a better & more equal p[lace to live & grow.  What will happen the the equality that people marched for,  lived for, died for if Mitt Rolney gets elected, if the "tea party" misaptly named the GOP takes control of our country.  Have they even read about ALEC.  Do they know who the K*** brothers are? Do they know what will happen to the ptogress we have made?  Do they realize how fragile Voter's Rights are now? Can we please, please ask ALL the people who believe in equality to join together & speak together in one voice to ensure that this now fragile Democracy will survive the ravages of what Citizens United & the corporations that put that judgement in place will not prevail?  We cannot afford to be divided at this time about anyone's riughts, lest we risk the certainty that we will lose them all. I hope thatthis message somehow reaches out to someone who can make the change that we so very much need right now - for all of us.  Susan B.
