Remember when Senator Obama decided America was ready for a black president, and most of black America thought, "They're going to kill you, brother." Well, Obama was brave enough to run for president despite the fears of many. Gotta give him credit there.
As for Obama's smarts, well--he was right that America was ready for his presidency... so you gotta give him credit in that column, too. And what's up with the Affirmative Action crack? That's tired. Affirmative Action may or may not have gotten him into Columbia and Harvard Law, but Obama graduating with high honors and becoming the first black president of the Harvard Law Review has nothing to do with Affirmative Action.
As for caving: Gitmo--Congress failed to fund the program to close it; healthcare--he got what he could get as opposed to getting nothing for standing on principle; Wall Street Bailout--TARP was truly a bailout program under Bush, Obama's handling, however, is very different... too many details for me to write here; bailing out Israel??? Not sure what you're talking about here???

Nobody but old folks thought he was going to get killed. The average young American knows Americans are too fat, lazy, and content to be the violent racists they were half a century ago.
And Obama himself has stated he did not have the best of grades while at Occidental. He got ivy League based off AA and legacy off of his Brilliant fathers ability to get into the school.
And no more congress excuses. Obama sat there with a super majority for nearly 2 years and caved on each and every last one of the things the fascists republicans wanted him to cave on. Hes a sissy in that regard. Israel is constantly bailed out because he refuses to stop the welfare that goes there, even when they tell him to piss off about their policies.,

Indeed President Obama is an intelligent and accomplished man. With that said, I would not use his strengths in comparison to a beast. For that matter all man out wit and over power any and all beast - lol.
Do know that one man is not the answer to all. I take nothing from President Obama, he is a positive force that this nation needed to see. We as (African American) citizens needed that sense of comfort and association within our government.
We must realize that everything that transpires within our government is orchestrated, even if it sets the people back at times and causes strife. There are still millions of people unemployed under his current administration. We are somewhat mild in our discomfort on this issue because we are conditioned to believe that he will actually correct this problem. The truth to the matter is, that there will always be a high rate of unemployment in this country. There will never be a day in existence when every single abled body is working at the same time. Businesses go under and jobs are loss, employees seek for advancement so they may quit their current job to find a better one. Employees will get fired, some will get laid off temporarily. This is the way of the world!. So to think that one man can tell me he will fix the economy in this country in 4 to 8 years is not possible. Heres a tip, if he wants to fix the economy strip every citizen of their debt and place them on an equal playing field. At the 1st of every year deposit one million dollars into their account-lol.
I bet you then and only then would the voting polls be so welcoming to the homeless, elderly, and minority community.
Most of this nation thinks every move he makes is about humanity and the righteous thing to do. Its only about the politically correct thing to do. Everyone rejoiced when Sadam Hussein was killed but when our troops had to remain over their to restore order we huffed and puffed about that. Everyone rejoiced when Osama Bin laden was recently killed, and now when the threat of a retaliation may happen we are now saying "when will this ever end?"
Well here is some news you might not want to hear, it will never end. When ever you have an inbalance, there will always be conflict. We cannot control the minute issues we have with family or neighbors yet expect a man or cabinet of the same flesh and blood to solve the problems of the world?
The only thing that I am aware of that solves all is Truth and Love, and this nation is lacking in both departments.

On the president’s admission into the Ivy League, you’ve misspoken: Obama’s father provided no legacy connection to Columbia. For his father did not go there; he went to Harvard. Moreover, the senior Obama did not go to Harvard Law either, so there’s no legacy for Obama getting into the Law School. Facts are important.
As for your remarks on Congress, they’re wholly inaccurate. The president (after Al Franken was finally seated as senator of Wisconsin, and with Robert Byrd of WV and Ted Kennedy of MA being out due to illness, and with a good number of Blue Dog Democrats in Congress not backing the public option—like Joe Lieberman from CT) the president did never had filibuster-proof control of Congress. This is why he had to use the Reconciliation Procedure (with requires only a straight majority-vote) to get passed the version of healthcare that he did.

I believe once you have truly identified sources for what they are, you can situate their commentaries appropriately. I would not expend valuable energy dignifying rubbish that comes from some sources. How could some who do not qualify to be office assistants in Barack's or Michelle's Law Office begin to find the audacity to take issue with Obama's academic credentials? It simply offends commonsense, which understadably is not that common. How could it lie in their mouths to query the academic record of a distinguished Havard Law graduate whose wife is no less a distinguished alumnus of the same Havard? Both have gone on to attain a string of 'Firsts' on many fronts.
Some carry on as if others owe them some kind of apology for legitimately succeeding. Please! There is a gap between tolerating differences of opinion and indulging stupidity on the back of feigned conviviality. We recognize free speech as a price America pays for democracy; but, there is a distinction between free speech and silly licentiousness.
It is not hard separating bona fide critique of presidents or other elected officials from mere idleness. The competent have earned a right, beyond nominal citizens' rights, to express their minds intelligently on whatever they believe is wrong or right with America's path under any presidency. Perfect freedom to do anything is an illusion; there is a price tag for freedom. My freedom stops where the freedom of another begins. Responsibility and accountability are attached to anyone's due exercise of freedom. You do not have the freedom to walk naked on the street of America or public beaches not specially cleared as such. You’re post has too much to rebut. Let me just suggest that if you want to understand the president’s economic policies and what his plan is for poor people, read William Julius Wilson’s The Truly Disadvantaged. Wilson taught alongside Cornel West at Harvard for a time.
Liberal lines in the sand like “the public option” and “the Bush tax cuts” are symbolic cable-media talking points. The reality of both is: (1) the public option can still happen. Medicare as we know it was built incrementally, so why now do so many far-left people have such impatience. No other president has been able to do what Obama did for national healthcare, so give the man credit and help him build some momentum so he can get you the public option down the road; (2) extending the Bush tax cuts was the only possible form of economic stimulus that was possible in the winter of 2011. Not cutting this deal would have resulted in all Americans getting their taxes raised, and doing this is the middle of a recession is crazy.
