You know the thing that I like about children is their innocence, their ability to trust, and their ability to spot a hypocrite. Too bad children and not adults are not listening to the diatribe of the dynamic duo Smiley & West as they try to lead us to believe that poverty has become a problem over the past three and one half years under the Obama administration! Nobody is stupid gentlemen. As a matter of fact I would like to ask where the dynamic duo was when Tavis was showing the intellectual talent of black america in his "State of Black America that he held each year on CNN. Was poverty not a problem at that time or did the President that was in office intimidating to you? What happened to your concerns being spoken to the Congressional Black Caucus? They have been around for decades. Yet this issue is brought to the forefront now and if we are not careful, it will become a "Wedge Issue" that could very well divide our race in this next election. It is interesting that we can always find a negro to divide our race! At this point, the timing stinks and if I did not know the background of Tavis and how he was angry when then Senator Obama would not appear on his State of Black America show and sent his wife, he has been criticizing him ever since. I find his behavior and the behavior of Dr. West questionable at best and sleazy at least. President Obama has an open door policy at the White House! My question for them is when they are going to stop bypassing the White House and meetings with him like men do, and stop being cowards and talking about him behind his back? Like Mo Ivory said, If they think that this issue is so pressing, why won't one of them run? What is their intentions for black america?

Professor,

You need to let it go. You write the same zealous accusations over and again. Nothing you write can be proved. So who are you trying to convince? Yourself? Just over and again--the same nonsense!

Frankly, your behavior is consistent with Winston Churchill's description of a zealot / fanatic: "A fanatic is one who can't change his mind and won't change the subject."

I wish you would take the time to study policies, as the people you are criticizing with ad hominem accusations have done. That way, there would be something useful to discuss with you specific to points where there might be disagreement. But because you have no policy understanding, or positive policy facts that are defensible, you have obviously chosen to rely on delusions as your cognitive foundation.

Frankly, I don't see the point in trying to discuss your delusions with you any further, since you clearly do not intend to get well any time soon.

Besides, no one is paying you any attention any way. As of this response, you have only eight views over three days since you tried to start this conversation, and four of those are mine.

What does that tell you?
