Are all parodies of Presidents the same? Or is this worse because Barack Obama is black? See the youtube video using the link in the text portion.

I am thoroughly disgusted. I think this is way too much. A parody of a political figure is to some degree expected and fair game. It can be done in an intelligent manner, and often satirical... as a way to convert an otherwise myopic or "spotlight" consideration of the figure to a more "floodlight," point of view, underscoring aspects of the subject one might not consider; or even aspects that are in plain sight. Even when a parody is just plain silly, it can be acceptable. But this, I find to be repulsive and frankly, out of control.
I didn't see the one you highlighted, trouble getting there...I have seen offensive ones.....I think all parodies are not the same. I think the election of Pres. Obama is historical and will forever be seen as that... historical. That necessarily calls for a lot of attention, much of that attention will come from individuals who are not pleased..
Parodies usually have some truth to them while providing some satirical humor. In the case of this video, where is the truth? What the makers of this video have done is characterized President Obama as something totally opposite of that which he is. It shows how many characterize blacks in general. We all are weed smoking, hip hop loving, ignorant, uneducated thugs standing on streeet corners. At least that's how I see it when I watch this. How you take a man who graduated from Columbia University, Harvard Law School, held a US senate seat, and finally the Presidency, and characterize him in this way, I'll never understand.
I think African Americans in this country would probably be especially sensitive to any jokes about this president. I know I am. Why? Because it's the first time anyone of African American descent has held this nation's highest honor. Whether we agree with everything he has done or not, we respect the struggle it took to get to this point.
A president is usually characterized by things done or said in his presidency and that is what people will remember about him. These things are what they'll tell there grandchildren and great grandchildren. What will I tell mines? Aside from the historical aspect I'll tell them he was attacked on all fronts. He was called a thug, an elitist, a muslim, a Nazi, and a socialist. Sadly, my task will be different than my parents. They never had to tell me about so many attacks made about a president. We could discuss issues. I could formulate opinions. I didn't have anger in my heart. I think my future descendents will be angry. I hope they figure out positive ways to channel it.
When will we stop substantiating all the negativity that encircles our people. Our advocates fight so hard to move us forward as a people, yet the bad apples continue to shove us back into the realm and reality of "The Bell Curve". I would love to be able to say that this video was sponsored by or filmed by or produced by Obama haters, but I can't. I would love to spotlite the video as a conservative or Tea Party product, but I can't. Obama's own people are in this video, playing down his wealth of education and knowledge, assaulting his family and supporters, degrading his position as president and leader - attaching all the negative stigmas which surround our people to a man who has effectively climbed above them. People all over the world are seeing this video and engulfing the message it delivers. We've come so far and there are so many success stories. Why would any African American male or female want to part of this video? Regardless of Obama's successes or failures, whether you agree with him and his administration or not, be you democrate, republican, liberal, or green party - as a people we've made it to the White House. Where is the pride?
I fixed it now. Try it again...

Thank-you Jamar... all I can say is.... OMG
I don't know that this video should be considered a parody, like has been posted a parody should in some way reflect the individual. This video does not even resemble the persona of the President...
I don't ever see it being identified as representative of the President, the First Lady or his presidency most especially by the Black community.

I find this video extremely offensive ...not only to the President of the United States but to people of color everywhere. It is sheer sterotypical images at it's best...ignorance! I find it not a parody but a display hood rat behaviour that continues to degrade a people that have come so far with Obama as the first African American President in history.I do not find it funny at all. Although I do listen to Wacka Flacka's music I am sure he had nothing to do with this video...it is just somebody trying to ride on his coat tail to get some of the cheese, dinero, mula baby...hey let's ask Wacka what he think's of this rip off!? I think he would file a law suit...but what can you get from a broke Brother?Brothers,my Brother wake up from your ignorant nightmare and stand up to be the Men you are destind to be ...leave ignorance by the waste side.Peace...out.
President Barack Obama, is working in a "Gridlock" system where Republican's block everything he try's to do, the Republican's are doing this deliberately because this Political Party wants him to fail so Republican's can regain power; continue their "White Supremacy" agenda to oppress the Indigineous, minority people, modern day slavery.
You better look at it again. This parody is not about President Obama, it's about black people.
....I nominate the Flintstones as parody of White people....

Re: Remarks of Parody; you said its about "Black People" President Barack Obama is "Black" he therefore symbolizes "Blacks" The "White Supremacists" want him to fail so they oppose, obstruct him in everyway possible. The "White Supremacists" don't care about whats best for the country, they only care about ruling over us, enslaving the Indigenous-minority community's.

I wasn't the one who said the parody was of Black people...I am not certain the video is even a parody, if this video parodies Black people then the Flintstones can surely be a parody of White people....
